About The Craft Citrus Club

Citrus is an unusually blessed fruit, known for its magical aroma and taste for centuries. The energizing, sweet aroma from the essential oils of citrus would invigorate your skin. It would bring freshness to feel your kitchen, bathroom, and car. The smell is diffused into the air and brings positive energy to your home and workplace.

In the United States, citrus is grown the southern belt, like in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas, Southern California, Arizona, and Florida. The state of Georgia, Louisiana, and Hawaii also have citrus production to support local needs. 

What’s in the Craft Citrus Box? 

There would be one or more of over two dozen citrus varieties – sweet and sour that elicit your taste buds. The trick in making normal citrus into a “Craft Citrus” product is a process. Some heirloom varieties are rare and a hidden treasure. There is a magical maturity blending the right combination of acid and sugar ratio in the fruit, along with juicy fruit. The high heat index in the Rio Grande Valley produces great-tasting grapefruit. Some varieties are bliss. Unfortunately, commercial production cannot handle heirloom varieties because of various reasons controlled by the marketing process.

I remember a great-tasting heirloom tomato that my wife and I grew in our 25 x 25 ft vegetable garden plot during our college life at Purdue University. It faithfully produced a good crop with a flavor that is missing in grocery store tomatoes today. Getting those special citrus products into your home is our mission at Craft Citrus. You get to taste grapefruits that are sweet like an orange. 

Each citrus fruit is hand-harvested, washed, and oiled. Hand packed with no artificial coloring or treatment. The citrus boxes leave our facility into a UPS truck in just a few hours.

Try our seasonal citrus box while its available...the Craft Citrus Club!

Our Rio box is a 15-lb curated box of our fresh-harvested citrus from South Texas. The fruit is NOT gassed, rather it is tree-ripened. Our season runs from Nov-May for oranges, grapefruit and mandarins.

Our Grande box is a 30-lb box of either fresh-harvested Rio Red Grapefruit or Sweet Oranges from South Texas.
