This fruit has a special combination of flavors that are deeply aromatic and powerful. Lots of acidic juice penetrates your food and distributes flavor and softens meat. A coveted fruit in South Texas to marinate beef barbecue like carne asada.
This fresh-harvested Brazilian sour orange that is the special delight for chefs especially for ceviche and meat marinade.
Brazilian Sour Orange: medium sized fruit, medium-to-dark green rind that is not easily peeled, very juicy orange colored flesh, very sour and tangy, seedy.

Cultural Practices: Non-GMO. The fruit is tree harvested. This means it is not gassed in our packing facility, so it retains its natural color, and we do not have to treat the fruit with fungicide because of this. Despite the color of the rind, the fruit is ready to consume when you receive it.
Storage: Keep fruit at room temperature for one week or refrigerated for up to three weeks. Juice and freeze for up to six months.
