To help you in all your baking endeavors here are a few great orange cake recipes that your friends will love.

Orange Juice Cake

Everyone loves a cup of OJ in the morning. Why not mix things up a little by having it in cake form? Preheat your oven to 350 and grease your bundt pan.

Get out a large bowl and mix together a box of yellow cake mix, a box of instant lemon pudding mix, 3/4 cups of vegetable oil, 3/4 cups of orange juice, and 4 large eggs. When this is well mixed, pour it in the bundt pan and pop it in the oven for around 40 minutes.

Once it's done pull it out and start preparing the glaze while it cools off. You'll need to put 2 cups of powdered sugar, 3/4 cup of orange juice, and 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan and cook it over medium heat until the butter has melted all the way.

Take a skewer and poke little holes in the cake. Pour the glaze over it and then let it sit for around 20 minutes before you dig in.

Orange Loaf Cake

If you want a cake that's both sweet and tangy then this orange loaf cake will be right up your ally. Like with the last recipe, preheat your oven to 350 and grease a loaf pan.

Get out a large bowl and mix together 1/2 cup of butter, and a cup of sugar until it's nice and smooth. Mix in your 2 eggs one at a time until they are completely combined. Lastly, you'll mix in 3 tablespoons of orange zest and 1/2 cup of orange juice.

Get out a second bowl and whisk 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Once these ingredients are good and whisked together combine them with the first mixture.

Pour the batter into your loaf pan and pop it in the oven for about an hour. No loaf cake is complete without a glaze but it's pretty easy to make your own.
